Christmas Fudge!

This is the best and easiest fudge recipe I have ever tried! It's so super awesome that I wanted to share it with you. It is great to bring to parties because when people tell you how marvelous it is, you can just smile knowing you threw it together an hour before.

Seriously, this is my go to party dessert because I almost always have the two ingredients on hand and it takes a total of five minutes to make then just hangs out in your fridge for about an hour.

And yes, you read that correctly! ONLY TWO INGREDIENTS! It doesn't get much simpler.

Okay so, here we go. Are you ready? The magic recipe for the best fudge you will ever eat is this: one bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and one can of sweetened condensed milk.

That's it.

Can be made allergy friendly (for soy, wheat, gluten, corn) by using Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips. It also works with full fat coconut cream instead of condensed milk for a dairy free version but this tends to be runnier and not set up as well. However, it makes an excellent chocolate dip for a fruit tray!

All you need to do is melt the chocolate in a double boiler then add the condensed milk. Or if you are even more of an over-achiever when it comes to slacking you can just melt the chocolate in the microwave. So, I suppose that would make you a slacking achiever, if that's even a thing. LOL.

If you choose to melt it in the microwave then you need to do it for short periods of time like 15-30 seconds at a time so that it doesn't burn. As much as you might think the smell of cooking (burning) chocolate could be pleasant it actually really isn't. Trust me on this. Not a good way to go.

Once everything is mixed simply place into a wax or parchment paper lined pan and set it in the fridge for an hour to set. Or if you are in a hurry the freezer will hasten the pace of the cooling process as well. When you can slide a knife all the way in without getting anything on the blade then it is ready to cut and serve.

Like, I said, super easy and nothing about this is rocket science. I love this fudge because it has no crazy sugar boiling to an exact temperature and no adding in ingredients in weird orders or anything like that. Just two things mixed together and BAM! Fudge!

It is great for the holidays or any time of the year that you get a hankering for some chocolatey goodness. Especially around certain times of the month, ehm, ehm.

Hope you enjoy :)
